Red Rock Canyon

Well our crazy week culminated in another Saturday out at Red Rock hiking the trails. This week we chose Turtlehead Peak which chose to be quite a hike. We learned when the sign says difficult they mean it! The peak was some 6500 feet plus we made it to about 5000 feet. We decided we weren't near experienced enough to make the summit. The sheer drops and red scorpions began to weigh on me as well. We turned back just at the right time since the descent proved to be as challenging if not more so than the ascent. I did bite it once but luckily this was not documented in pics-lol.

You don't look like you're having much fun in that last pic. How great to have all of that at your fingertips. Great outdoors and great indoors. Love the pictures.
