Today we hosted our monthly luncheon. It wasn't as good of a turn out as usual but not bad. We had some last minute cancellations and Soren and Brandt were both under the weather so it was a girls only luncheon. We had one newcomer though, a coworkers wife Heather who brought their newest edition three month old Emma. She was just precious. London's good friends Rowan and Harper were there of course. London tried chicken nuggets for the first time which comes as no surprise she loved them. Thanks Megan for entertaining our little mooch:) Harper can sit up now so she was right down in the mix with London and Rowan. Rowan and London are both mobile now so the days of just sitting and chatting are over:) We had a great time and can't wait until next month!

Time to get that Baby Gate!
I actually caught London 3/4 of the way up the stairs last week! She was in the living room when I stepped away for no more than 2 minutes-geez...

Easter Weekend
We had a busy Easter weekend. My dad and his family camped out at a nearby lake and Nathan and Latisha came to see us for the weekend. London spent the weekend getting spoiled by Grandpa. Dennis and Nathan did a lot of fishing and boating. Saturday Grandpa Clyde volunteered to babysit so we all went out on the lake and did some fishing. We did well enough to fry up some fish Sunday night. Easter morning London woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had come to see her and brought her some nice gifts. She looked adorable in her Easter dress from Tia Michelle. After raiding her basket we headed to the Sunday service and then for a delicious lunch. Sunday evening Uncle Nate grilled up some delicious steak and Sand Bass. We had a wonderful weekend. We hope everyone had a happy and blessed Easter!

Bunny Hunting
Today London and I set out to track down the Easter bunny. She got all dolled up in one of the three adorable Easter dresses her Godmother sent her! We found him at the local mall and to my delight no line! Grandma Rita and I waited nearly two hours for Santa. I thought London might be scared of him since she is more aware than she was with Santa. Um NO! Not only did she think he was hilarious, she wanted to pull his whiskers and the fur off his paws. The kid is fearless. Happy Easter everyone.
All I Want for EASTER???
Is my two front teeth!?! Yes London is teething. Saturday morning we discovered London is getting her two bottom incisors. Here are a few pictures of her taken this weekend.

Bluebonnets!
It's one of the reasons we love Texas-Bluebonnets! It's been dry so they are not as impressive as years past but I couldn't resist getting our little Texan out for her first season of the beautiful native wildflowers.
Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail...
Today London got a big surprise. Grandpa Clyde sent the Easter Bunny to see her a little early. She didn't get to see him but she did find the goodies he left for her. It's always fun watching her see something she's never seen before. She was fascinated by the pretty plastic Easter eggs she found in her very first Easter basket. She couldn't decide do I eat the candy, shake the eggs, taste the clothes, oh and then there's the wrapping paper?!? So much to choose from...Thank you Easter Bunny!
