Thanksgiving 2010

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We celebrated London's first Thanksgiving by traveling to West Texas to see my parents and brother. We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner on Friday at Nathan and Latisha's. My mom and Latisha's mom prepared a wonderful meal. On Saturday we visited my dad's where we ate more and watched the Bedlam game. Sunday I got to spend some time catching up with Michelle and saw everyone one last time before we had to head back home. The weekend went by very fast with so many people to see and always too little time. Here are a few pictures from London's first Thanksgiving.

London Couture...

Well here are the pictures not sure why they didn't come across earlier:(

London Couture

Here are just a couple pictures of London taken this month. She is all dressed up in designer duds from her dad's bestie Edwin. Also I got a new computer (YAY!) and I wanted to experiment with the blogging features of Windows 7. Let us know what you think… We hope everyone has a very happy Thanksgiving. We are looking forward to traveling to my parents to celebrate London's first Turkey Day.

October 2010 at a Glance...

Well I've been a little behind on the blog this last month but I will attempt to catch you all up on our happenings. October 1st welcomed in London's two month birthday as well as her paternal grandparents from Nairobi, Kenya. Bernard and Rita spent the month enjoying time with London, helping with yard work, planting a garden for London, and helping us around the house. I celebrated my birthday in October as well. I was treated to a dinner out by Dennis' parents. We also attended the annual Oklahoma State University Cowboy Nation Homecoming. Where we left London overnight for the first time. She enjoyed spending time with Grandma Janet and meeting her great grandma Enid a.k.a. Nanny. We had four generations together under one roof! London also met her great aunt Donna and Uncle Wayne and her second cousin Tonya for the first time. She also met her Aunt Doreen who lives in Slough, England via Skype. London is still anxious to meet her Aunt Martha, great grandma Phyllis, cousins Ian and Greg and all her many aunts and uncles.

We were welcomed back to Austin by Dennis' parents. We spent the remainder of October celebrating London's first Halloween. She was a strawberry and a very cute one at that:) We took her to a couple of friends and to the neighbors to show off her costume. We even managed to get some candy out of the deal! She got to stay up past her bedtime to help hand out candy to the hundreds of little goblins that came to the door. We ran out of candy-next year we will be better prepared!

I will try to stay more on top of the blog this month but my computer has been ailing making it difficult. Here are a few pictures of the many memories we had in the second month of London's life.
