Mommy and Me

Today London and I headed out to what has become a once a month ritual for us to hang out with new moms and moms-to-be from work. Today our friend Adrienne hosted the luncheon and we got to meet our newest friend Patrick who was born in mid-January. The little guy was so quiet I guess I forgot about him during picture time:( We had a good turnout today. I was so happy to welcome back the Sebeks. Some of you may know of and have said prayers for their little girl Rowan who received a liver transplant back in November. She is doing so well! London and Rowan were instant friends! Though they had met before this was the first time Rowan was feeling well. They had so much fun touching and kissing on each other! It was so fun to watch them interact. Of course London's "long time" friend Harper was there too. London wanted to play with her so badly but at four months old London is a bit much for her:) London even took her shoes. Sorry Harper! Brandt was there too representing the men. He is getting so big it's hard to believe he will be a year old soon. We missed Soren today he was home sick. We did have a newcomer today though, Kalen brought her little boy Ryan. We always have so much fun. It is a good way for us to discuss being a mom, let the kids "play" together and of course EAT! We can't wait until next month...

Over the River and Through the Woods...

London and I headed to Midland last week to see everyone out there while Dennis spent the weekend in Las Vegas at a rugby tournament. We had a great time visiting with everyone. She spent the week getting spoiled by everyone. Uncle Nathan and Aunt Latisha showered her with toys and clothes. Grandpa Clyde and Grandma Janet got her cute Valentine's outfits. She also tried some new foods. She LOVES beans and butternut squash! The jury is still out on bananas. Barley cereal is still a favorite though. While we were in Midland her Tia Michelle took her to the Duck pond for the first time to feed the ducks. Grandma Janet treated her to her first bubble bath. She wasn't too sure about the bubbles at first but quickly learned to like them. She also celebrated her first Valentine's Day while we were there. We had a great time but we are glad to be back home with Dad.

Happy Valentine's Day

I hope everyone had a very happy valentine's day! London enjoyed her first day of love being loved on by her grandparents, aunt and uncle, and her Godmother. We really missed daddy though. We love you all!

Super Bowl...................of Peas

Well to celebrate the culmination of another wonderful season of football Dennis, London, and I had our own version of a Super Bowl party. I must say it was a lot different than Super Bowl parties of the past. On the menu pizza and pureed peas-yummmm! London has been loving her sweet potatoes and oatmeal so it was time to try something new. She had her first taste of peas as she enjoyed the beginning of the game. I only wish I had videoed it. Saying that she disliked them would be an understatement-lol. She actually gagged! We laughed so hard. We will keep trying but for tonight it was oatmeal only. London peas are not my favorite vegetable either:)

Her face says it all!
These are not sweet potatoes!
What is this stuff anyway!?!

OSU Baby

Here are a few pictures of London sporting her OSU pajamas Nanny got for her.

Happy Half Birthday London!

It's hard to believe that has been six months since our little angel came into our lives. London and I celebrated this milestone by going to see our friend Dr. Cheng for her six month checkup. She got a few immunizations and her flu shot. She's been having trouble with dry patchy skin so we are going to start applying a steriod cream to see if it improves. So not to out do her
self London remained in the 95th percentile for both height and weight.
