Fifteen Going on 24...

Months that is... London went to see Dr. Cheng today to celebrate her fifteen month birthday. He was very impressed with her progression. He said she's right on track for a two year old:) I think he was exaggerating a bit but we are pleased with our princess's development. Her growth, language, physical and cognitive development all checked out well. He did say he'd like her to start learning her colors though. I didn't think she was old enough for that-silly me:) She did get three more vaccines and cried for just a minute. Once again she stayed in the 95th percentile for both height and weight. We are so blessed.

Happy Halloween

This year London and I started what I hope will be our family's yearly Halloween tradition-pumpkin painting. Year one was a success. She really seemed to love it and know what to do. Suprisingly she actually got more on the pumpkins than herself! Grandma Rita was even able to get in on the action. After our trip to Stillwater we arrived back home just in time to nap and prepare for trick or treating. For London's second Halloween she dressed up as a Lady Bug-thanks Laila. London loved standing in the driveway waving "hewo" and "bah, bye" to all the trick or treaters. She would smile real big when she saw a costume she really liked. She would also try to give away her own loot.

Then today London got a special delivery for Halloween! Papa Clyde sent her an edible arrangement. She said "mmmmmm, mmmmmmmmm, ball." Then she grabbed a strawberry and shoved the whole thing in her mouth-lol.

Mmmmmmmm
Pretty. "Boo"-she said
Yummo!

Last year I took this pic of London with the Jack-o-lantern that Dennis got me at least 8 years ago. I tried to get a similar one of her today but she is just too active for my slow camera. So I gave it my best:) My how time flies!

Where Our Story Began...

Yes folks it's that time of year again, time for another Oklahoma State University Homecoming. Of course we would not miss America's largest Homecoming celebration especially with our Cowboys ranked #3 and National Championship contenders!!! I must say the sea of orange has never been so big. It's always great to be back in Stilly and homecoming is even better. Stillwater really comes alive and orange pumps through everyones veins. This year was special because it was London's first homecoming experience. Here's a few pictures of our Cowboy Homecoming 2011.

This years theme couldn't have been more fitting

Birthday Week

This year I had a extra good time celebrating my birthday. The actual day was great filled cards and calls then Dennis took we out to eat for a nice dinner on Friday night-we even got a sitter. Since it was OSU/TX football weekend we followed dinner up with a trip to the Blind Pig Pub where the Alumni Association was hosting a Cowboy pregame party. Then Dennis surprised me by telling me we were going to the game! Saturday we welcomed his mom into town and then rushed downtown to watch our Oklahoma State Cowboys wallop the Longhorns. If that wasn't enough birthday excitement Monday night I got to go to the Fire Relief Concert featuring George Strait, Willie Nelson, the Dixie Chicks, and many, many more! It was a terrific way to celebrate my 29th birthday:)

Fall, Fests, Fairs, and Ferris Wheels

Wow, that's a lot of F's. Well we've been busy the last couple of weeks. London and I headed to west Texas to visit my parents at the end of September. We had a good time catching up with everyone. London spent most of the time fawning over her favorite person Uncle Nay Nay. She absolutely loves him. I'm still trying to figure this out:) Everything is Nay Nay followed by giggles and smiles. The phone cannot ring without her assuming it's Uncle Nay Nay. I think we can thank Aunt Tisha for this. She also enjoyed spending time with her PawPaw Clyde. She sounds so cute when she says PawPaw. She can now say Grandma too. Grandma Janet spoiled her as usual with all kinds of Halloween gifts. She's sure to like Halloween as much as her mom. Tia Michelle also introduced her to a Midland tradition, the Saint Anne's Fair. The three of us enjoyed a nice afternoon riding the rides. It was London's first time to ride a Carousel and the Ferris Wheel. Michelle and I concluded that we are either getting old or the rides are too fast and high these days. I definitely think it's the latter;)

Last night London met up with her friend Harper for our church's annual fall festival-the Riverfest Hallelujah Hoedown. Our socialite was in top form. She really seemed to have a good time. She gauked at all the costumes, danced (of course), waved at everyone, "hula hooped", bounced in the bounce house, animal watched at the petting zoo, ate popcorn, and got tatooed. I think our little goblin was fast asleep before we even left the parking lot. I can't wait until next year.
