Wow it's only ten days into May and it has already been eventful for the Kinoti's namely London. This past weekend London took her first plane ride to Los Angeles to see her Aunt Smita, Uncle Kim, and cousins Luke and Laila. It was a practice run for our big trip later this year. It wasn't terrible. It wasn't great. She didn't scream and cry the whole time but it was exhausting. She did sleep some on our return flight thankfully.

While in L.A. we went on a surprise 5th birthday trip for Luke to Legoland in Carlsbad, California. The kids were so good in the car! London and Laila were born best friends too. Laila was so sweet and gentle with London giving her kisses and holding her hand. The funniest theme of the weekend was Laila thought that London was a little boy from her preschool named Collin. I guess she looks a lot like him:) "Collin" she would say in the sweetest little voice. It was so hysterical and sweet. We tried to correct her but she would insist "Collin". So we just started calling her Collin too-lol! I wonder what she had to say at school this morning about her weekend with "Collin":)
Our little Collin grew leaps and bounds this weekend too. Not only did she say her first words "uh oh", and "hi Laila" (twice) she learned to give "high fives" and she is standing without holding on for a few seconds! Thanks big cousins!
We also celebrated Mother's Day-my first. We ate breakfast at a very tasty pie shop near Legoland. We spent the remainder of the weekend hanging out and touring some of the sites at Venice Beach and dinner in Malibu.I only wish I would have taken more pictures.
