Where granddaughters go to visit grandma's...
Well you haven't heard much from us because we've been off the grid. In Cement, OK that is. Maybe the only place on earth that still has sketchy cell service and internet, well forget about it:)
London and I headed to Oklahoma to see Nanny and my mom for a couple of weeks. We had such a good time. Nanny really seemed to enjoy spending time with her great-granddaughter. She let her get into just about anything she wanted and thought she should get to eat everything she was eating too:) Several mornings London ate all of Nanny's cheerios! Nanny didn't seem to mind at all. Grandma Janet also had a good time spoiling London. There are a lot of hazards at Great Grandma's house so I had to be on my toes making sure London didn't get into anything harmful. She only spilled Nanny's false teeth twice LOL!
We also enjoyed lunch with great Aunt Donna and cousin Tonya a few times! We met Doneva in OKC one day for London's first trip to the zoo. She loved the fish but it was soooooooo HOT. One evening we went to visit my great Aunt Judy and Uncle Curtis. London ate most of Aunt Judy's dinner:)We had to leave early because it started storming and hailing so bad. We also visited the Fletcher Cemetary to put flowers on my Grandpa Hand's grave as well as the Cyril Cemetary for my Papa and Grandma Betty, Uncle Steve, and Great Uncle Chuck's. London picked out pretty red, white and blue flowers for the Fourth of July. We also took Nanny to the doctor once. London kept everyone entertained:)
All in all it was a busy and fun trip. We had a great time visiting family and relaxing. We came back just in time to celebrate Dennis' first Father's day.
Also for those of you who have been asking about London's friend Rowan she is still in the hospital. I spoke with her mom today via text and she is doing better but is not out of the woods yet. Please keep the prayers coming. We love you Ro!

No Ordinary Hero
Today isn't just an ordinary day it is our sweet friend Rowan's first birthday. Many of you have heard me talk about the Sebek's and you've seen pictures of Rowan and London playing. As you know she had a liver transplant just after Thanksgiving and is truly a miracle baby. Her spirit shines through her big smile. She's been through so much is one year but you'd never know it by her bubbly personality. She's our pint sized hero.
Unfortunately she has been sick again recently. Please say a prayer for Rowan and her super parents Megan and Chance and join me in wishing Ms. Rowan Ruth a happy first birthday.
Happy Birthday Ro & get well soon!

Double Digits!
Can it be? Our princess turned 10 months old yesterday! This is a picture of my favorite face she makes right now (all the time). It doesn't quite capture all the wrinkles and scrunches that she makes but it's close to the real thing:) We love you London!
