Seven Years...no itch

August 3, 2009 marks our 7th wedding anniversary. It's truly hard to believe that the two of us have shared the last seven years together as husband and wife. It's even harder to believe that it's been seven years since we made our dear friends and family endure the scorching Oklahoma summer to witness our marriage. Kayaking Lady Bird Lake

Since the weather was so beautiful today and not quite as hot (it was only 101). Dennis & I decided to go kayaking. We headed to the heart of Austin for a ride on Lady Bird Lake. We enjoyed the afternoon in the sanctuary of nature in the heart of the bustling city.

It's a Girl!

The newest edition to the family arrived Wednesday evening. Our first niece Ms. Laila Rita arrived July 15th. She is the second child of Dennis' brother Kim and first granddaughter. Smita's mom just made it in from South Africa a short time before Laila made her big debut. Mom and baby are home and doing well. Congratulations Kim, Smita, and big brother Luke. Happy Birthday Laila!
